What is the Holy Spirit saying to local church leaders about “Next Steps” together?
Because of the excellent response to the 2013 “whosoever will may come” approach, we’re doing it again!!
We’ll begin with worship and a review by Bishop Keith of where the Holy Spirit stirred our hearts in the 2013 Regional Gatherings and 2014 General Conference.
There will be a video of interviews of various FMCIC local church leaders preparing us to discuss the four key ministry topics of the day:
- Reviving Passionate Christian maturity among us – faithful in prayer and action
- Discipling the next generation: ministry to Children and Youth
- Ministry among members of the LGBTQ community
- Missional Engagement with our neighborhoods
At the end, we will see what the Spirit has said to “US.”
Who’s invited?
Pastors, Delegates, Board chairs, Pastoral staff, Retired ministers, Lay ministers
FMCiC leaders: BOA, MEGaP, Nominating, SCOD
Every local church leader passionate about one of the “Four key ministry topics of the day”
What’s the cost?
{a} Lunch and 2 coffee breaks: $12/person
{b} All participants are responsible for their travel with the exception of those coming from more isolated areas (+700 kms round trip), for whom a modest travel subsidy program will be available from the FMCIC.
{c} In some cases, host churches will be asked to provide billets for out of town visitors, i.e. Dryden, Blezard Valley.
