Offering Warmth in Winnipeg

Each Free Methodist church is unique.  Some have large congregations, some small.  Some are located in urban centres, others rural.  We meet in theatres, homes and traditional church buildings.  The make-up of our congregations depends on our location, but also on our efforts to welcome our neighbours to be a part of our church.

Crestview Park Free Methodist Church, in Winnipeg, understands the particular needs of their community and how important it is to reach out to new Canadians.  Crestview Park is led by Pastor Joseph Seidu. He and his wife, Grace, immigrated to Canada 10 years ago and know the difficulties of entering a strange culture. As such, they empathize with immigrants to Winnipeg and their church helps “new Canadians find work, feel settled and learn the local customs.” One of their priorities is to be “the warmest and friendliest multi-cultural church in Winnipeg.”
