Worship Coordinator – Arlington Wood Free Methodist Church
Arlington Woods Free Methodist, a growing vibrant church in Nepean Ontario is currently seeking the right individual to be our Worship Coordinator.
The Worship Coordinator’s primary goal is to ensure that worship is spiritually focused by creating an environment that allows the movement of the Holy Spirit in a multi-generational, multi-sensory worship experience for congregants.
At Arlington Woods, we believe that worship begins long before we are seated in the sanctuary. We believe that although worship can be an event, it is equally if not more important to help foster an attitude of worship in all aspects of our daily living.
Planning for worship often begins months in advance. As such, the Worship Coordinator will work along side of the pastoral leadership team to identify our key strategic direction, including the use of worship themes. The Worship Coordinator will clearly communicate the direction and themes to the various teams to ensure all aspects worship aligns accordingly.
The Candidate will clearly demonstrate a depth of Christian maturity and be willing to support the vision and ministries of Arlington Woods Church. They will demonstrate proven leadership skills which include the ability to work well with people of all ages within a multi-staff and multi-volunteer environment.
The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate; strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality, ability to provide feedback and create change in positive ways, able to be a team player yet work independently as needed, be highly organized, and be able to see the big picture i.e. strategic thinking.
This is a 30-35 hour a week position. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

Summer Intern – Wawota FM Church
A Summer Intern position will be open at Wawota FM Church in the area of Children’s Ministries, Pastoral Intern.
The start date for the position is June 5, 2018 and the end date is August 6, 2018. There will be other positions available for August if desired by the applicant.
$15/ hour along with Free Accommodation
The Summer Intern will be responsible to create, promote, organize and run a one week long Daily Vacation Bible School for about 20 Children, assist with Junior church, and participate in the Pastoral ministry of the church.

Cadet chaplaincy involves:
- Ministry of presence with cadets (youth, ages 12-18), staff cadets, instructors, and staff
- Working with an interdisciplinary, and secular, team to support the cadets, often including conflict managers and youth advisors/counsellors
- Instructing cadets on Life Skills (curricula established, but open to input)
- Working with a military chain of command
- Reporting to/ being supported by a chaplain network
- (typically) living on site, in barracks of some kind and being on call
The position is from 26 Jun – 19 Aug 18, but there will be additional training 22-23 Jun 18, in Victoria. It is possible that we would hire more than one chaplain to fill a position if candidates were not available for the entire time. However, our preference is for a single hire.
- Undergrad or graduate degree with a ministry focus
- Ordination or credential from recognized religious institution (ie FMCiC Ministerial Candidate credential)
- 5 years relevant ministry experience (not necessarily paid, or full-time)
- Letter from religious institution indicating “member in good standing”

Associate Pastor of Next Generations – Trulls Road Free Methodist Church
Trulls Road Free Methodist Church (TRFMC) is building a dynamic team to lead our church family in growing deep in our faith and taking responsibility for the community around us. We are looking to add an energetic, creative and godly leader to our staff to give special attention to the younger generations. The successful candidate will love people, live out the gospel in their daily life and have a track record of inspiring leadership. Our priority is finding a person who is gifted in and called to pastoral ministry and is prepared for a long-term ministry commitment. Our desire is to hire someone who is open to their role adapting as the church continues to grow.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Biblical/Theological Institute with two or more years of pastoral experience as a successful leader in the church. If the candidate is not currently a pastor in the Free Methodist Church in Canada, the candidate must be willing to go through the appropriate transition process.
The preferred candidate will have a gifting and aptitude in youth culture, with experience related to younger generation ministries. Communication and organizational skills, and familiarity in recruiting, leading, motivating and coordinating volunteers are necessary attributes for this position.

Director of Youth Ministry – Trulls Road Free Methodist Church
Trulls Road Free Methodist Church (TRFMC) is building a dynamic team to lead our church family in growing deep in our faith and taking responsibility for the community around us. We are looking to add a confident, energetic and godly leader who will give special attention to our youth from grades 6 to 12. This position will provide oversight and leadership to all areas of the youth ministry including Sunday School, weekly programs and other events.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a gifting and aptitude in youth culture with experience related to youth ministry. Communication and organizational skills, and familiarity in recruiting, leading, motivating and coordinating volunteers are necessary attributes for this position.
Part-Time Position: 16 – 20 hours per week, Flex office time acceptable.

Associate Pastor – Barrie FM Church
Barrie Free Methodist Church (BFMC) is looking for a full time Associate Pastor (AP) to work with our Lead Pastor to provide oversight and leadership to our Youth and Young Adults (YA).
