There were three consecutive stories about church planter and FM ministerial candidate Bruce Zantingh in Simcoe news last week.  Bruce has renovated the Historic Melbourne Hotel in order to provide affordable housing to the community.  While he hopes to accommodate artists and entrepreneurs, several units have specifically been set aside to for people recovering from substance abuse.  The building is also used for church services, which presents the opportunity for people to serve those in need in the area.

Bruce Zantingh, owner of the former Melbourne Hotel in downtown Simcoe, has renovated the upstairs of his building into 20 apartments. He hopes his project will help to rejuvenate the core. ( DANIEL R. PEARCE Simcoe Reformer)
