David Roller was elected a bishop of the Free Methodist Church at the 2007 General Conference. At the time of his election, he was serving as Latin America Area Director. His 27 years of ministry include 10 years as Area Director for Latin America and 17 years as missionary to Mexico.
Bishop Roller now serves eleven conferences in the eastern area of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the annual conferences of Latin America.
David and Yvonne graduated from Spring Arbor College in Michigan. David is also a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Bishop Roller and his wife, Yvonne, reside in Baltimore, Maryland. They have two children: Thaddeus, who is married to Nichole, and Evangeline. They are also the grandparents of Liliana Christine, daughter of Thaddeus and Nichole.
